Today I tried to do the last of the cleaning before my mom flies in. It seems never ending, so after today I am ready to call it quits.
Tyler wanted to do things with me today, so we painted on his easel. He did a picture all by himself first, then with my help we did a Halloween family picture of pumpkins. He told me where to paint on the paper, what colors to use and what shape eyes, nose, etc to draw. Then he had me write our names next to them. He was so proud, lol.
Emily is still on her 3 hour schedule more or less. I think depending on how much she drinks ... she'll get up early or sleep past between 15 to 30 minutes. Her awake time is still at night and I am hoping that will change soon. I've been trying to take pictures of her with her eyes open rather then her sleeping. It's proved to be more of a challenge then I thought it would. Either she moves and the picture is blurry or the flash goes off and makes her blink.
Brad and Tyler went to Fremont for Halloween with Andrew and family. I stayed home with Emily and played dress up. I put her in all the halloween outfits that we had that could remotely fit her. Including Tyler's Tigger costume. I wish I could say Emily enjoyed this as much as mommy did ... but when you see the pictures you can tell that she didn't. Take a look.
Oh and we are going to be trying something new with Emily. Brad will be doing the 12:30am feeding with just a bottle for some daddy bonding time. I wish I could say I could sleep, but I still have to pump.
