Omg omg omg!
It's has definitely been a LONG wait ... And finally the day is literally right around the corner. Less then 12 hours and counting.
I finished the blanket as a 4 x 5 one. I've also started gathering my things together so Brad could start taking them home.
I tried to rest for the most of the day just laying down and watching the boob tube. A lot of nurses came in to wish me good luck.
My prep actually started today/tonight. We went over the pre-opertation procedures and they seem simple enough. But they sound quite scary when I read it off the paper. Not sure why, lol.
In the late evening, they started my IV ... I needed two different antibiotics. Both starting at midnight for one dose and only one of them for a second dose at 6am. I can't remember the names of the medication though. I think azytromicen is one of them, but ... who knows.
Aiight, I should get some rest ... wish me luck!
