What a treat! I had Noah's bagels for breakfast this morning! The little things that make me happy. I am so over the menu here it is NOT funny. The things I will miss the least about being here, is not the bed rest ... it's the food and the 2 hour monitoring, lol.
I finally made myself work on the blanket. It's not coming out as expected, but for my first one, isn't too bad. I was aiming at making it 5 x 5, but looks like I'm going to end up with 4 x 5. If anything, she can use it later for her dolls. :)
Brad worked from home today because Tyler his 3 year old check up and flu shot this afternoon. He's still in the 15 - 20th percentile for both height and weight. He was 36 inches tall and 29 pounds. He took an eye test for the first time and passed with flying colors. Even the vaccination was a first. He got lucky and was able to do the nasal spray, so there were no tears.
They came by to hang out with me until swimming lessons in the evening. I needed a fix of grease, so I requested good ole McDonalds. :) It was one of their longest visits ... luckily Sponge Bob was on TV, so Tyler didn't get too bored.
I am beginning to worry about how he will react once baby girl is born. There are times he seems excited about being a big brother and their are times when he says he doesn't like his baby sister. I guess the only thing we can do is wait and see and hope for the best.
I'm sure Tyler will be a great big brother. Just keep in mind that you should always put time for him only, for her only, and for the whole family. I hope he can help out once in a while too. I can't wait to see baby Emily!
