9/26 - Week 31

Ahhh the weekend. The only reason I was happy to be indoors today is because of the crazy hot weather we've been having. I am loving my AC room! hehe ...

Keri and Lerma came to visit during lunch (McDonald's) with the kids. Kylie is so cute! She is such a happy baby. Dr. Teagle again came when I had visitors, lol. Rash still getting worse.

In the afternoon, I learned how to use a knitting loom to make beanie hats. I went crazy and made 3 baby hats! Takes about an hour to do one ... and I do them while watching TV.

I think tomorrow I am going to try and crochet one. Wish me luck!

Brad and Tyler came to visit with dinner from Hukilau. Yummy comfort food. They didn't stay long because Brad had to go to work for a bit that night with Tyler in tow. From what I heard Tyler did well there.

My rash is even more awful to day. The back of my hands have them and they look blistery and gross. I can't remember what chicken pox was like as a child, so I am thinking this is way worse. I had to have the nurse help me put on the calamine lotion because I can't reach my back on my own.

Week 31
This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.
