Woohoo, another milestone met. 30 weeks today!
For breakfast I had what has my "regular" breakfast these days ... ham, mushroom, onion omelet with sausage, hash browns, and a croissant.
In the morning, I hooked up to our slingbox at home and watched the recorded season finale for both CSI and CSI NY in preparation for the premieres next week. Can you believe they made Hawaii Five O? I never did watch it before, but plan to check it out on Monday.
For lunch I had turkey sandwich, chips and mandarin oranges. I didn't take the sleeping pill, so didn't sleep in long stretches. I ended up taking an afternoon nap. I could definitely get use to this. There was not much on TV ... so instead I watched SALT. It was a pretty good movie ... I just hope there's a sequel.
Brad and Tyler came for dinner ... yummy kalbi and chicken katsu from L&L. :) They stayed for a while and we talked and played with Tyler's toys.
For the rest of the night I stayed up and finished reading Eclipse. Yay, tomorrow is Monday! Probably the only time you will hear me say that. But I'm excited because my friends would be online. :)
30 weeks
Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds (like a head of cabbage). A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)
