Today makes exactly 2 weeks of me being here at the hospital. I hate to say, but it still seems like the time is going really really slow, LOL.
Everything is looking good. Fluctuating contractions seem to be pretty normal from what I gather talking to the nurses. Some days are worse then other ...
Dr Teagle ordered an ultra sound for tomorrow to check on baby's weight and size and for amount of amniotic fluid
I decided to have a light breakfast this morning. Some fruit, cereal and yogurt. It wasn't as satisfying as my normal omelet but I did feel much healthier. hehe
Brad stopped by this morning as he always does before work. He is doing a great job, but I feel so bad having to watch him be tired and stressed at home without me. It's really a crappy feeling being so helpless.
Because I now had Breaking Dawn with in my reach ... after Rachel Ray and the Price I Right, I spent most of the morning finishing Water for Elephants. In the end, I did enjoy the book. I don't think I would have read it so fast, if I wasn't wanting to start Breaking Dawn ASAP, lol.
I wasn't feeling the cafeteria food today and had my nurse warm up my leftover Chinese food from Tuesday. (Thanks Vicky!) For leftovers, it was still very good.
I really thought I was sleeping much better now (still without the sleeping pill) ... but by 1pm I was ready for my afternoon nap. May as well take advantage of this while I can.
By the time I woke up it was time to go back on the monitor ... so I watched some TV and read. I was basically just waiting until the premiere of CSI, lol.
Time ended up flying by because Brad and Tyler visited. You don't know how much I miss them. Tyler always makes me smile. He says the cutest things these days. Kids are so honest.
He sat on my bed and had his dinner ... talked to his baby sister and played with me. I hope he knows how much mommy loves and misses him.
*Note - seem to have some sort of red rash on my belly. Will have to see what Dr Teagle says about it.
