This morning I felt rested and much much compared to last night. For breakfast I had french toast, bacon, eggs and toast, milk and apple juice and a banana. Sounds like a lot of food, but I've noticed when you order lots they portion it pretty well.
Dr Teagle came in to check on me ... things are going very well I am very happy.
Brad brought Tyler by for the first time to visit and he was a bit scared. He didn't want to even touch my bed. And mostly hung out attached to Brad. I don't blame him. I must have looked odd in my hospital gown ... with the IV attached to my arm. Poor guy. I got his attention with my TV for a bit ... but shortly afterward he asked to leave. It's definitely hard not being able to see him more.
She set me up for an ultrasound and I was pleasantly surprised to get an estimate of the baby's weight at 3 lbs and 6 ozs. This made me feel A LOT better, in the event baby girl is born in the next couple of days.
The Yee's came and brought me Lee's sandwiches for lunch per my request. It was definitely nice having visitors. It's just nice to talk out load rather then do IM and watch TV and movies, lol.
Later that afternoon I met with NICU nurse. I asked questions about preemie babies and risks that come with it. Some things I knew from my experience with Tyler also being born early ... but it is a different game at 28 weeks vs 33.
Brad and Tyler came by in the afternoon to bring clothes, shorts and picture to hang on my wall. Tyler was still a bit shy ... but like I said, it was just great to see him. Brad set up a play date for the evening and took Tyler visit Andrew up in Fremont.
Saw a bunch of movies today ... How to train a dragon, Couples Retreat and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
I took the Ambien pill again and started my antibiotics orally. Now that I've gotten the 2nd steroid shot, they next step is stop the Magnesium on Monday morning.
On a totally random note, I am glad 9/11 is over. It would not have been ideal if I ended up delivering today.
