Grrr, got woken up at 7am this morning by the lab for a blood draw. Then since my room is right by the nurses desk, the tech came for my vitals saying that she knew I was already up...
I was still just laying there, not wanting to get up when the Dr came (I can't remember her name) for my ultrasound. It's been 2 weeks and they wanted to check on baby girl and see how things were going. Her fluid level is 6 ... she told me that the normal level is 8. 6 didn't seem to be all that bad for being ruptured. Dr. estimated baby to weigh 4 lbs and 5 ozs. :) This was definitely a surprise to me since Tyler was 4 lbs 4 ozs at 33 weeks and right now I am at 30 weeks and 5 days.
The weird rash could be an allergic reaction to something or it could be one of several different pregnancy rashes. Dr Teagle ordered another blood draw to rule out the harmful ones ... the non-harmful one that seems to be common is PUPPPS. I believe I had a mild case of it with Tyler. The rash has definitely got worse since I noticed it last night. It's most concentrated on the upper part of my chest and on my belly.
I did the norm today ... continued reading Breaking Dawn, watched TV, surfed the internet and took my afternoon nap.
Brad and Tyler came with Chinese food for dinner. The Yee's came a bit afterward for a visit. Man, Tyler and Haylie are so loud. I am surprised they didn't come in to tell us to be quiet. Especially since it was past 8:30, which is when I thought visiting hours ended. But ... the never kicked them out so I think they stayed a little past 9.
I watched the premiere of CSI NY during my night monitoring. I also broke down and took the Benadryl for the itching of my rash and put on Hydro Cortizone ... I hope they help ... :)
